New Quests type: Redo able quests.

Features.

I proposal a new quest type like this to add another element of game play. Here are some of the things
That will be part of this quest type.


Item Collecting
Talking to npcs
Party's
Special Locations
Special Monsters
Random Items giving as reward/ or a amount of gold
Solo only quests
Quest that will require different levels to complete
Experiences for completing these type of quests
Special Quest logs.
Trophy's for completing
Ranks.

Here is how they would work. You will go to certain Npcs. Some of them could be could trainers. They will have
You do a variety of things such as gather items for them from certain monsters, or have you go to a certain places where you must
do a seal and come back. They can also send you to slay a certain monsters, even special monsters that can only be slain on the quest.
They may make you do it alone or in let you do it in a group, or make you do it in a group.

I like the ideal of making you have to do a quest by your self to slay a special monster, or go to a spacial locations. By doing this you can't just have a high level help you do it because they will not be-able to enter unless the trainer says you are allowed to invite people on the group.

The trainer will tell you what you have to do and conditions for doing it when you talk to him. It could also be listed in the quest log.
The quest will be listed under the fallowing headings based of difficulty.


Beginner: 8 and up
Experienced 25 and up
Pro: 45 and up
Elite: 70 and up
Master: 100 and up
Insane: Anyone who dares!
Quest Logs.

Each of these ranks will have a designated master which will can be located through out tibia.
I Suggest the insane level to be located in knight-watch tower or in another area which can only located after doing a extremely difficult quest.
Also next to each of the Quests logs their will be a numbers indicating how many times you have completed a quest of a certain rank. Their will also be
a Star after indicating that you have started another quest of that quest ranking.

Ex:
Beginner (16)
Experienced (5)
Pro (6) *
Elite (4)
Master (2)
Insane (0) *

They would expand to show the current quest you are on and give you the options to invite someone along if you are allowed or required to.
If you completed a quest and haven't started a new quest it will show that quest you did in the log.

This part is all about how you will be rewarding for the quests.

Experences.

Each Quest will give you a certain amount of a experiences based off the difficulty, and your level when doing the quest. The higher you are
the better chances you will get the max possible exp.
Ex:

Beginner: 1,000-5,000
Experienced 5,000-2,0000
Pro: 20,000-120,000
Elite: 120,000-350,000
Master: 350,000-1,000,000
Insane: This one is special. This rank is like it says insane! Your going to have to go solo in this one no matter what its going to be have many special boss creatures. The last tasks will almost always required killing a special monster that is demon boss caliber. Its going to be long and hard! It may even take a month to complete if you can complete it. 10,000,000

Items.
Itemsas part of the reward. This basically works like this the higher the rank the better chances of getting a rare item, and the rarer the item he less of a chances to get.

Insanerank it special here as well. You have a 10% chances of getting a super rare item like a blessed shield of Magic long sword and etc...

Concepts.
Monsters.
Normal Quest Monster.
Quest Boss Monsters.
Areas.
Slaying areas.
Seals.
Quest Items.

Conclusions.

Xicidal's conclusions. I really would like to see a system similar to this implemented into the game. I like the ideal because it adds another element to game-play. This will make it so you don't just have to hunt endlessly to level. You can go on wicked adventurers instead!
Fill free to criticize and suggest what you would like to see! Also Suggest some special quest only creatures.

I like the idea...but when it comes ot redoable quests I was thinking say...collecting items (like an NPC that wants to collect small gems) and they give you some money (or an item) when you give them what they want.

Like one NPC wants say, 25 minotaur leathers to make a coat and when you do it, he gives you some money.

I planed on havening quest like that too. I just for got to touch on it more in the explanations.
I did this in Google Documents, so if there is anyone who wants to help me with the proposal I can invite them(look here if you don't know what Google Docs is http://docs.google.com/).
I also think it would be cool if some people would do concept art for the npc locations, monsters, special quest areas, maybe even special quest items.

why not the last reward... There wasted sprite files.. and 10% chance out of a quest that no one will have a chance in finishing... unless say there 400+ probably. soloing a boss like morgoth... hehe just for a 10% chance at getting one.

the thruth i didn,t like the rank of insane quest, to be only be able to solo ;/ that takes the fun of the teams like PoI, also if it could be like that 10% on getting an item what if u do it and u wasted a month and u didn,t got a thing ;P.Also the exp min-max its not kinda good ;/..
Conclusion: it has some ideas from runescape and some of you own so i don,t like them srry.

Describe what exactly is from runescape here?
Not everyone thinks team is fun too.
Its suppose to be near impossible. Those the title insane.

Killing a monster for a quest is more then just in one game. xD
You collect items in lots of games.
You have to goto differnt places for quests in lots of games.
This is just a combo. Can you think of a better way to do redo-able quests.
I made the whole concept so that ppl could get lvls from this, not items.

not trying to be mean.. I just don't understand why its being compated to rs.

I still havn't figured out what is so runescape about it.

The only thing remotely like rs that i can say is talking to npc which tell you to go slay a creatures... but this isn't a skill.

If any of you have some ideas to add to it. I can invite you to the doc on Google or you can just post it here.
I'm not quite finished with the proposal just yet.

There should be random tasks that people want you to do, for example:

21:08 Frodo: Thank goodness you've come! I'm nearly out of apples, can you fetch me the freshest batch you can find quickly please?

You have until server save to find Frodo some apples, if you go to Carlin or Venore you get a crap reward, only about 50gp, but if you go to tropical places such as Port Hope or Darashia you'll get around 300gp.

Random little quests like this could appear each day on any NPC throughout Tibia.

That is definitely a possibility.
Thats the type of thing I want. their is justs different difficult levels and some are not always gathering levels. So require many things quest that are in game already have. like going to different seals before you can complete the quest, and talking to different npcs and etc.
