has anyone ever heard the story that you could trade the anni teddy bear (there are different kinds of teddy bears) for a golden helmet in venore to an NPC?

dont really remember where i heard this, but i was wondering if anyone else knows more.

I heard of it to and they said that if you say something wrong the Ani Teddy Bear turns into a regular teddy bear so its to big of a risk to lose something like that

I think it's just a mith. I remmeber there were rumours you could trade it for a Thunder Hammer and such. As long as it's not prooven, I don't elieve in it. But I do believe it has a purpose on some way, it can't be useless right?

Rumour was that you could trade it to Mr. Ironeye and he'd give you a choice, either a crown, a golden helmet, or thunder hammer, and you could get the teddy bear back from his daughter by trading a platinum amulet for it

at least, thats one version of it :p

a regular teddy is more valuable on most worlds correct?

and ive heard about 100 rumors to do with trading ani items, llike you can trade your SOV for a warlord sword and so on

I believe it is for trading with a npc for another item...but I don't think anyone knows what NPC or what item you get. Until then I guess we can hope and try our best.

if it would be that easy just to trade it with an NPC then it would have been discovered long ago. it won't be simple.

im preddy sure there is a mystery to the anni bear becouse who tha f*ck whould like to do the hardest quest in the game just for a lousy bear that you just can burn up or whatever..

but if i would guess how hard the quest is or what you get i would say there where many options. like give it here and get 1000k if you bargin with the npc or give it here to get an pair of dsl or a hoh or maybe a hots.
couse i think doing some sort of quest with the anni bear is a greater reward then the others it is just that its way more complicated and im sure someone out there knows something but he sure aint telling :P

its just a myth... i think in new update (version 8.5 or something like that in come years) they will make a new quest, or npc to be able to get thunder hammer...

what is wrong:golden helmet can be only obtained in certain servers (old ones) and not by trading the bear. This remains a mystery

what is true: the teddy bear can be traded, but its for a thunder hammer, and youll just have to figure the correct words (only works at older servers).

Some items only exist in older servers because they were a gift, or ways to get them were removed in updates... however, seeing its a NPC trade, it should either work on all servers, or none of them.

All servers b4 Nova has the golden helmet. It used to be a quest but now its totally removed. Antican's has the bigger amount of golden helmets but this is normal for first world ;) So if any of u is playin in world(server) created b4 Nova - you coud buy such helm for big amount of money:D

Saw a tibiacam a while ago with a knight who has it so ..
Don't think it was sprite change or sumthing, since he did a look on it

there are some of them in antica some years ago (in version 6.0 i think) you could get those... knight fang used to have 1 but he got deleted xD he also had great shield xDDD

i doubt that very much so ....

like the otehr dude said the reason these items exist on older servers were because they were obtained from OLD quests that were removed before most of the servers were created. or a gift from the gods,

were do you get the idea that you can still obtain the g helmet but only on old servers?

It's a myth. The Golden Helmet could be obtained on Antica and Nova many years ago. That's why Big Daddy still has some. (2 or 3)

I heard it could be traded for a thunder hammer. Ive heard soo many stories and rumors, talked to a few old timers here (players who've played longer than me) and some say you can some say you can't. An old friend of mine who was in a wheelchair used to play tibia 24/7 and told me he once found i think a winged helm? At the crusader helm quest area. And after reading the interview with Mulf i'd like to think these rumors have some truth to them. It's what makes Tibia so exciting for me and i'd say many others.

Well i have news for all of you if you look on tibiacity news there is an interview w/ mulf he had many rare items..great axe horned helmet and many golden i think it might have something to do with the anihiation bear or it wouldnt be on one of the hardest quests in the game :)

i belive the real trouble with this type of quest is twofold.
1 does it even exist in the 1st place. there are some many rumors about old unique items be able to be gotten on the newer server any real info gets lost.
2nd as with any quest involing talking to npc,s they only respond to keywords.finding out them words is a huge pain in the *** or a large dictonary.assuming cip didnt mispell the keyword in the 1st place.
prehap instead of sitting in a dank hole with my slime buddies training i might start hanging out in libaries.

I Think such kind of quests are hidden in the middle of some city but you can only dicover him to read all books in some libraries, with some luck you could discover him.

Some monthes ago i saw a tibia map from many years ago and it was all green total tibia only thais was the only city in tibia. Maby there is a city build on some quests and now you have to dig them out.

There are many items on Antica that are no longer obtainable in-game. Cip decided that many items were too powerful or they wanted to make them "legendary" so they made it so you could no longer get them. Golden helms used to be dropped by warlocks in one of the earliest versions of tibia. Other items are coming around in the new boss monsters.

actualy in the first version of tibia dragons used to drop golden helmets and mpa. this is when they were the hardest creature in game.

And the second was owned by Halvz who world traded for it, then sold it in antica.

Actually, there are 50-ish HotS on Antica... But most of them are apparently dupes from the days when you could dupe items easily (according to Karr Chaos). You can check Antica trade board... you can see people selling them monthly even.

There was nice article on Tibiahistory.com about how Golden Helmet came to be in game... but sadly that site is hacked and wouldn't recommend anyone visiting it.

I'm pretty much sure there isn't any quest today for HotS, and that the only way you can get one is either gift from Gods or buying them on worlds they still exist. In future - who knows? Maybe someone from Ruthless Seven will wear it - remember Apocalypse on test server? A boss that strong surely will have some fabled items as loot ;)
