I have created a death loss calculator, telling you how much exp and training time you lose when you die, and what skill+percentage you will drop to. It is located here:

Report any problems with the calculator on this thread.

If you put in high skills you will see results like 2.78942752E+12 It is not a bug, it means the number is really big and you need to move the decimal point 12 places to the right, so that one (for mana spent by a knight at ML 20) would be 2789427520000.

I found no errors in all the chars/cenarios i tested xD Just got scared at MDW's shieliding hours :X

I think there is an error with the input, not the calculator :P

I will check it out, but I'm verifying it using TibCalc and those results are identical... Are you sure he has 46 shielding?

I'm not sure but the 46 shielding came from a tibiacam. And i THINK but im not sure that it was just an error. That was actually his fishing skill. Coming from someone who trained for over 6 months to get shielding 30 and almost 12 months later is only at 35% to 31 i don't think it's possible that any mage could get shielding 46. I know that tripida at level 316 only had shielding 31. But again I could be wrong

no way a mage has such a shielding..

tibiacam TV is known to sometimes mess up the skills.

Maybe im using this wrong, but it's different everytime I try it.

I died yesterday with 16% to go for level 60.
No blessings, just promotion (Royal Paladin).
And I was on level 58 with 50% to go for 59.

51h 20m 8s for fist fighting skill 26 with 59% to go to next skill level. There is no way thats right. Especially when i usually gain 3-5% fist per 1% shielding skill and shielding is listed as 4h 54m 46s for skill 30 with 34% to go to next skill

I don't follow, it lists 26 fisting with 56% to go as a total training time of 1h 3m 0s. That would seem in line with your observations...
